Third International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding

In June 2024, the Third International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding will be held in The Hague, Netherlands. The Environmental Peacebuilding Association (EnPAx) and the Grotius Center for International Legal Studies at Leiden University are building momentum for the Conference through the Path to The Hague.

The Path to The Hague is an inclusive and consultative process to elevate and diversify voices in environmental peacebuilding, and to learn from regional insights leading up to the Third International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding.

The Third Conference will feature 5 themes key to environmental peacebuilding as well as a 6th open theme:

Climate Change
Water
Peace, Justice, and Accountability
Natural Resources and Conservation
Data and Digital Technologies
Open
